Bro remembered The Reece Times existed

Image
Hi, I am Reece and it has been three years since I made a post on The Reece Times. Since then, I have gained 1 thousand subscribers on YouTube , over 300 thousand views on YouTube and TikTok , aged from 13 to 16 (almost 17), and more! I last wrote here on The Reece Times 3 years ago, my last article here being on the Wii mini . I recently launched my new website: Reece2oo9's World . Feel free to check that out! To be fair, since I last wrote an article here in August 2023, I mostly forgot this blog existed, apart from me occasionally remembering this exists, but even then, I haven't wrote a new article here, until now! If I remember this blog exists, I might write some new articles and maybe even give this blog a makeover. Until next time, see ya!

Wii mini: Honey, I Shrunk Miiself

Image
Ah yes, the  Wii mini , the console that failed due to launching after the  Wii U . First announced on 27th November 2012 by Nintendo of Canada, days after the Wii U launched in the United States and Canada, it released on 7th December 2012 (six years before Super Smash Bros. Ultimate  came out) in Canada, coming with a red Wii Remote Plus, a red Nunchuck, and a copy of  Mario Kart Wii . Guess which one sold the most (and without the Wii mini at that)? Predictably, Mario Kart Wii . On 28th February, 2013, it was  announced  that the Wii mini sold 35,700 units in Canada alone, since its release. The Wii mini was announced for an Europe release at the same time with it releasing on 15th March, 2013 in European countries, except for the UK, which had to wait until the 22nd of March. It was later announced later in 2013 for a release in the US on 17th November 2013.  There was also a bundle exclusive to Greece that contained the same contents but...

WarioWare: Move It! Brings Motion Controls To WarioWare For The First Time Since Wii!

Image
In Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, the most surprising games in my opinion are HD remasters of the first two  Pikmin  games ( which I made a blog post about if you’re interested in reading it ) and  Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon  ( Luigi’s Mansion 2 if you live in the UK like me), and WarioWare: Move It! . To be honest, I thought it was a WarioWare: Smooth Moves remaster at first but I was proven wrong when it was revealed  to be a brand new game.  WarioWare: Move It! reminds me a lot of WarioWare: Smooth Moves  for the Wii. The description on Nintendo of Europe’s official website is the following: “ Get moving with WarioWare: Move It! on Nintendo Switch ! Grab a pair of Joy-Con controllers, then gently shake, punch, dance, wiggle, and even curtsey through over 200 lightning-fast microgames (minigames that last just a few hilarious seconds). A second player can use another set of Joy-Con controllers to join the treasure-guarding, sheep-twirling fun. ...

You Can Now Play E̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ Most Pikmin Games on Nintendo Switch!

There may have been Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Pikmin 4 info in today’s Nintendo Direct but the most surprising games in my opinion are HD remasters of the first two Pikmin games and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon  ( Luigi’s Mansion 2 ), and WarioWare: Move It! ( read the post about it if you’re interested ). According to Nintendo’s official website, the remasters of the hit GameCube games not only feature HD graphics, but all the enhancements from the NEW PLAY CONTROL! versions of both games on the Wii. It also says that swapping  between Pikmin, as well as swarming ship parts or enemies, are all easier. Just like in the NEW PLAY CONTROL! versions, players can rewind to previous days and replay them to correct any mistakes made. The HD are masters of the GameCube classics Pikmin and Pikmin 2 are now available on the Nintendo eShop, ether separate or together. The bundle containing both games will release on the 22nd of September. With Pikmin 3 Deluxe  from 202...

Happy Purple Ninja Birthday, David Raynolds!

Today on this very day in 2005, the voice actor of Nelson, everyone’s favourite (or not) Purple Ninja in  Ninjago , alongside a few other characters in other media was born! His name is David Raynolds! Yes, he’s an adult now. How fast does time go?! From Lil’ Nelson to Teen Nelson to now Adult Nelson?! Time goes fast when you deliver newspapers. If you didn’t know him, he’s an actor and singer who, alongside voicing Nelson in  Ninjago , is known for voicing Mitchell Peterson in season 2 of  Ready Jet Go! , playing a young King in episode 1 of season 2 of  DC’s Legends of Tomorrow , Drake on Fox's  Wayward Pines  in season 2, Alex in an episode of Netflix's 2020  The Baby-Sitters Club  series in season 1, and more. He’s also known for some of his songs such as 'This is the End' and 'Over and Out', the latter which has a music video. He also has albums called 'Believe in Me' and 'So Alive'. This is just the middle of 2023 as more stuff will turn 1...
