WarioWare: Move It! Brings Motion Controls To WarioWare For The First Time Since Wii!

In Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, the most surprising games in my opinion are HD remasters of the first two Pikmin games (which I made a blog post about if you’re interested in reading it) and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon (Luigi’s Mansion 2 if you live in the UK like me), and WarioWare: Move It!. To be honest, I thought it was a WarioWare: Smooth Moves remaster at first but I was proven wrong when it was revealed  to be a brand new game. WarioWare: Move It! reminds me a lot of WarioWare: Smooth Moves for the Wii. The description on Nintendo of Europe’s official website is the following:
Get moving with WarioWare: Move It! on Nintendo Switch! Grab a pair of Joy-Con controllers, then gently shake, punch, dance, wiggle, and even curtsey through over 200 lightning-fast microgames (minigames that last just a few hilarious seconds).

A second player can use another set of Joy-Con controllers to join the treasure-guarding, sheep-twirling fun. Up to four players, each with one Joy-Con controller, can laugh out loud in the local Party Mode’s minigames, such as a dicey board game with Wario-style rules.”

Fun fact: The trailer included footage of a microgame based on Super Mario 64 DS. Yes, the Nintendo DS version which released alongside the Nintendo DS in 2004 in the US and Japan while during 2005 in Europe and many other countries. It features Mario sliding to collect coins in The Princess’s Secret Slide. There will be a Pikmin microgame if Pikmin 4 and the HD remasters of the original two GameCube games weren’t enough for you. WarioWare: Move It! will release on 3rd of November later this year on Nintendo Switch.
